Legal documentsPrivacyTerms

These terms govern your use of MarkMate at https://markmateos.com (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Questions: support@markmateos.com.

1. The service

MarkMate is an AI marketing automation platform: it connects to your marketing accounts through their official APIs; runs analyses, reports, and scheduled workflows that track and monitor your channels on their own; and prepares changes that execute only after a human in your workspace approves them. Automated runs are governed by the same workspace permissions, credit metering, and approval boundary as manual ones. Features evolve; we may add, change, or remove functionality.

2. Accounts and workspaces

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Workspace owners and admins control member roles, connections, guardrails, and approvals.
  • You must have the authority to connect any third-party account you connect to a workspace.

3. Credits and payment

  • Usage is metered in credits. New workspaces receive a starter grant; additional credits can be purchased.
  • Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout.
  • Credits are prepaid usage capacity: they are non-transferable and, except where required by law, unused credits are not refundable. Failed operations are not charged.

4. Acceptable use

  • No unlawful use, spam, or violation of a connected platform’s terms (Google’s terms apply to Google data).
  • No attempts to break tenant isolation, probe other workspaces, or reverse-engineer the approval system.
  • No reselling of the service without a written agreement.

5. AI output and approvals

AI-generated analyses, plans, and drafts can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing them before acting. Changes to live systems execute only after explicit approval by a member of your workspace — approving a change is your instruction to execute it.

6. Your data

You retain all rights to your data. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service (store, process, and display your content to your workspace). Our handling of personal and platform data is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that AI output is accurate, or any particular marketing outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or ad spend.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product or by email, and continued use constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of India.
